Busy Weekend

We had a busy, fun weekend! Friday we went shoe shopping for Kaylee so she has more supportive shoes for her flat feet. She wore them around the house that evening and all day Saturday and said her ankles didn't hurt! She has her first appointment with a physical therapist today.
Saturday morning Kaylee had 5 friends over for a Luau! That party was full of monkeys!

That afternoon Jacob & Pat went snowmobiling, while the girls went to Art As You Like It to paint bowls for the Empty Bowls rundraiser. Then, a little more shopping to get Valentines for their classes.
Sunday all the kids had a solo or duet during worship. They did FANTASTIC!! I am so proud of them :-) Jacob, Kaylee & Mom went to the Concordia Band Concert in the afternoonl. It was fun (for Mom at least) to hear the band again. Makes me want to go to more concerts. The kids said they liked it, but didn't get overly excited about any parts of it. Although, Kaylee was air-drumming at one point.
And then an evening watching the SuperBowl and eating good food! During the game Becca worked and worked on wiggling her loose tooth. Just before bedtime it came out!

The side tooth is the one that came out last night. Her front tooth has been missing since before Christmas, and the new one is now starting to peek out. She had the extra second baby tooth on this side, so we'll have to wait and see if her front tooth & second tooth are going to use all the room that's there, or if there is an extra permanent tooth waiting to come in.
