Kaylee's off to Kindergarten! She is so excited about school and has been counting down the days for a week. She had a "Night Before Kindergarten" book that talked all about how scared kids are for the first day of school, but she's been ready for this since the day she turned 5 and has no fears at all. Mom will be counting down the minutes until she gets home :-)
Jacob is off to 2nd grade today. He's probably not as excited as Kaylee is, because he's been through this twice before, but he's glad to be back to school. He really likes to do worksheets, so now he can do them everyday since we completed all the workbooks we could find over the summer.Our school has different wings for each grade level. Well, they had to add a Kindergarten teacher this year for the few half-day students and so Kaylee's room is next to the 2nd grade hallway instead of by the Kindergarten wing. Jacob and Kaylee ended up with lockers across the hall from each other.
Just Mom and Becca home together every morning while Kaylee's at school. I asked Becca a few weeks ago what we were going to do together. I told her we need to run errands, clean the house - and she piped in quickly with PLAY! So, we're off to find space in the playroom to play a game.

Yum...Are your kids tall for their age or is it just the pictures? They are getting too big! Hope they had a good day and hope you and Becca had fun. Tomorrow afternoon it's just Ella and I!
