Pat's dad is replacing most of the windows and all of the siding on his house We are helping him with it. This last weekend we replaced 5 windows, put up insulation on about 1/5 of the walls, and started to learn how to hang the siding. Pat's dad and uncle have removed most of the old siding.

After we removed the old window, Pat checked out the space for fitting in the new window. They went in pretty well. They were a little bigger than the old ones, so we had to do a little cutting of the inside walls and the rough opening. But getting 4 windows replaced in about 7 hours isn't too bad for weekend warriors.

Jacob helped a little bit. Here he is holding up insulation while Pat is nailing it to the house. He got bored quickly when just standing around holding things, so that didn't last long. He enjoyed hauling materials for us in his trailer - he attaches the wagon to the pedal tractor.

Kaylee & Becca spent most of their time playing. They would help for a short time too if asked, but the kids get tired of just hanging around waiting for something to do.
