We just spent a fun family weekend getaway in Grand Forks. Our main reason for going was to see the UND Hockey games and visit with friends.

Saturday morning we did some swimming at our hotel. Becca jumped in by herself! It was shallow enough for her to stand. She also really likes to jump into Dad's arms, so she did that a few times in the deep end too.

Kaylee helped Becca float around on her back. Kaylee is such a great little helper and teacher :-)

Dad threw all the kids in a few times.

Saturday afternoon we met our friends -Youngs- for some ice skating. Mom shows off how she can still skate on one foot - kinda.

Isaac, Declan and Jacob setting up to play a little hockey with tennis balls and snow piles for a goal.

Becca pushing Dad around on the ice.

Kaylee and Cyndi skating around together.

Kaylee and Becca hanging out at the Sioux hockey game. The Sioux beat Duluth both nights. They were fun games to watch!

Jacob watching intently.

Mom and Dad at the hockey game.

Kaylee has fallen asleep at every hockey game she's gone too. This weekend she slept a little at both games, but also Becca fell asleep at the Saturday night game! I think that's a first for Becca (except when she was an infant). We must have worn her out with swimming and skating.

Kaylee, Jacob and Becca riding in the back of the van with the computer on the seat infront of them so they could watch movies on our 4 hour rides to and from Grand Forks.
