Greta used Grandpa's snowmobile (much better than Pat's! in Greta's opinion). We stayed north of Two Harbors and rode along and around the North Shore Trail. We had every scene imaginable...long stretches among snow-covered pine trees, winding trails through the bare forest, open fields, up and down hills, even some moguls. The weather was perfect! Well, a little too warm for Pat. We covered 207 miles of trails over the 2 days. A little slow for Pat, Greta was more comfortable on the second day and sped up a bit.Friday, December 31, 2010
Mom's Christmas Present
While the kids had time off from school, it was a good time for the parents to get away while the kids stayed with grandparents. Mom begged for a snowmobile trip, and that's what we did!
