Weekend Fun

There are little moments every once in a while that make a person realize - my baby isn't a baby anymore. Yes, I know she's 4 already, but she just keeps growing up more and more every week. We went to the Mall of America last weekend and got tickets for the Nickelodeon Park rides. Last year Becca would go on the bigger rides with Mom or Dad right next to her. This year, Pat got in line with the kids for the carousel. And then before the ride started he was back at my side. I was STUNNED. I asked where Becca was and he said she was riding it by herself. Yep, she's grown up and goes on the carousel all by herself.
Becca with a HUGE smile on her face.
Kaylee will always be Daddy's little girl and likes to go on rides with him even though she's big enough not to have to.
Jacob and Becca whipping around the corner - and giggling.
I tried to get a picture of them on the log chute - this is what turned out. Jacob, Kaylee, Becca and Dad.
Becca was excited that she was tall enough to try the big rollar coaster with an adult. She smiled and laughed through the whole thing. Mom, Becca, Kaylee, Jacob. We decided to get the good picture that the park takes, cuz I was just so impressed that Becca went on this and had a blast. Kaylee & Jacob are both tall enough now to go by themselves too.
While we were at Grandpa Ringstad's house on Saturday Kaylee lost her bottom right tooth. It had been hanging by a thread for several days. The bottom left one will be close behind.
Then, a few minutes later, Jacob lost his top right tooth that had also been hanging by a thread. His left one isn't quite as loose yet, but it won't be too long.
We had puttzy work on the house last weekend. Lots of thinking involved around corners and angles. We finished the soffit over the front deck, and did the siding next to the chimney.
