Another week gone

Here we are at the beginning of another weekend, and I'm just getting the pictures off my camera from the last two weeks! Summer is really flying by.

2 weeks ago we had a family reunion with my mom's brother & sisters and their families.
Brother & Sisters: Cherry, Yvonne, Ordell, Vickie and Pamela (Mom).
The reunion was at my cousin's house, and they have a pool. So, the kids spent about 4 hours swimming. Kaylee jumped off the diving board several times (it's about 7 feet deep there). Jacob also jumped off a few times - but I didn't get a picture :-(
Nicole, Ed and Winter drove from Washington to be at the reunion and then spent a few days in Fergus. Here Nicole & Winter (2 yrs old) are enjoying the pool.
Carrie, Micah and Kasen (6 1/2 months old) drove from Denver to be at the reunion and also stayed in Fergus for a few days. Carrie's and Nicole's families also camped with us one night. Here, Jacob is holding Kasen. Jacob says they're going to be buddies when Kasen grows up :-)
Another cute picture of Kasen. Carrie, Micah and Kasen are moving to Sartell in August! It'll be fun to have them in town and watch Kasen grow up. And to use them as babysitters! Ok, not too much, but we'll babysit for them too.
Another cute picture of Winter. She had the biggest smile on her face while she was driving the horse around. Kaylee & Becca had a fun time playing with Winter. They would all hold hands while they walked around.
Greta & the kids camped near Fergus for the week while Nicole's & Carrie's families were in town. We were right on the lake, so one evening we bought a floatie and went swimming. We're planning to bring this to Grandpa Ringstad's house this weekend, hopefully we'll find some warm time to go swimming again.
And finally, here's what we did on the house last weekend. The soffit was finished on the short peaked wall, and the siding on both these walls. We also started the next wall, so that will be done this weekend. You can see a glimps of the new porch/back steps (to the left) that Dick & Steve finished the week before.

Sounds like a very busy, but fun week.
