For a few years Sartell has been having a kids duathlon the night before the adult duathlon. This year Jacob participated in the duathlon, and Becca did the fun run.
Jacob coming out on his bike after running the first 1/4 mile. Then, they biked 3 1/2 miles and finished with another 1/4 mile run. If he does it again next year he'll move to the upper age bracket and have to do 1/2 mile run, 7 mile bike, and another 1/2 mile run.
Coming into the finish!! He did a great job! I'm so proud of him for trying it, and for not stopping during it (I would have had to walk part of it!). It really wore him out...we had to wake him at 10:15 the next morning! That's the latest he's EVER slept.
