Each grade has their own spring concert showcasing what they learned in music class that year. Jacob's class's concert was last night along with 2 of the other 2nd grade classes. They performed 13 songs, some with instruments, some with duets, some with percussion or hand clapping rhythms. With nearly 70 kids on stage they were well heard.
Jacob played the xylophone in Follow the Drinking Gourd (aka: the big dipper)
This was one of Jacob's favorites. Puff the Magic Dragon.
One more cuz I thought this one was fun. And Jacob taught it to the girls and they all sing it around the house. Down Down Baby.

yahoo for school concerts!! i remember all the plays we did in elementary school. they were fun at the time. and i loved getting picked to play the xylophones or whatever their official name is.
