Projects

After having the new area of our basement done for almost a year, we finally finished the bookshelf. As you can see I've already filled it with some of our albums! Wonder where we'll put the rest of them :-) The top shelf will be for knick-knacks or pictures or something of the sort. We also finished the trim around the family room window.
On Wednesday Pat worked on changing oil on the truck and the van. Jacob, at first, stood on a ladder above the open hood and said, "Ok, what is everything?" Pat did point out the major things. Then, he watched as Pat did the oil changes and helped as much as he could. He is going to be a big help this summer when we're working on Grandpa's house and our house - and he'll be learning alot too.

Today we took the tour of our new church that is under construction. All walls are up and the roof is on. This week they will be pouring more of the floor areas. It's exciting to see it coming together. Their projection is to be done mid to late July and they are on schedule!

Jacob is such a sweetheart. What neat bonding time for him and Pat, too. The shelves look great! You may have to use the top shelf for books soon.
