Another productive weekend at the lake. Jacob & Kaylee are standing in the space for the front window.
Here's the new front window.
We got siding hung on part of the front of the house...
...and part of the back of the house. They also started building the new back porch. Seeing complete walls covered in siding is a big confidence booster! Looks nice too :-)
The kids waiting with friends Declan and Isaac for the Fergus Falls Summerfest parade to start. We waited about 40 minutes, and then heard it was postponed because of the Thunderstorm & Tornado Warning. We got back out to the lake when it started sprinkling and headed for the basement. We camped out for a few minutes to wait for the strong winds and storm to pass. We found a box of colored chalk in the cellar, so the kids spent their wait time coloring the concrete block walls.
Sunday we celebrated Jacob's birthday (and Father's Day and Allan's birthday) with family.
