Last weekend the house was turned white with insulation. 5 new windows and a new door were installed. We also completed some more of the soffit and some more trim for the siding. Thanks to the help of all the dedicated workers - Dad, Steve, Dad M, Allan, Pat & Greta, Jacob, Kaylee & Becca (the kids each hammered a nail or two in, and they were good go-getters).
The back door was replaced. The back porched was torn off to be rebuilt, so there was a make-shift porch for the week.
The north side of the house.
The northwest corner of the house. This weekend hopefully we'll get lots of siding pieces on, oh, and rebuild the back porch.
During our weekend at the lake Kaylee finally lost one of her front teeth. They have been loose since before school ended.
At VBS on Thursday morning Kaylee's other front tooth fell out. Now she has a toothless grin :-)
Since the beginning of May the kids have been asking to have the sprinklers on. I had told them not until June. On Thursday it was nearly 80 and they wanted the slip n slide out. They each said 'brrr' a few times while sliding on it, but they had a fun time. I remember always sliding off the end of our slip-n-slide, but these kids never made it to the end. --Becca would run on the slide, or flip around.
Kaylee sliding.
Jacob had to try it out on his knees.
Here are the kids on their last day of Vacation Bible School. They went 4 mornings this week and had a great time. On the 'bravery' day we had a thunderstorm. They were in the basement of the church recreating the great storm when Jesus walked on water and at the right time the lights went out in Sartell because of our great storm!

My kids have bible school tonight and are very excited. We are doing a different church where the kids will know more kids their age. It is in the evening, so Jeff and I are going out to supper!
